He Had Compassion

He Had Compasion serves as a ministry of compassionate care to the poor, the displaced and to refugees, both within Canada and in foreign countries, including those within zones of conflict. He Had Compassion serves to alleviate poverty by providing necessities of life, including food, clean water, medical supplies, clothing, and/or shelter and resettlement to victims of disasters including war.

Our focus is on support of refugees both within countries at war and countries where foreign nationals may have taken refuge.

Our ministry during 2022, 2023 and perhaps beyond, is entirely in support of Ukrainian refugees, both in Ukraine, and wherever they may have sought refuge.

Expenses incurred are entirely humanitarian in nature, providing food, clothing, medical, hygienic and other necessities of life. Where feasible, funds may also cover travel and ancillary expenses incurred by those taking refuge.

Taken from the well-known story of the Good Samaritan, who recognized the need and provided assistance, though others passed by.

But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he was moved with compassion.   Luke 10:33
